My last visit to one of Smack Mellon's very fun first Thursdays (more info here) included an excellent site-specific installation, Whip Lash, by John von Bergen and some gorgeous ink on paper works by Michelle Weinstein (I seriously considered the investment). Check out the photos on those links.
A big thanks to RIchard Garet whose performance last night was absolutely ethereal and lovely. I walked away feeling like I had a sort of brain massage. And then had a midnight snack at Yummy Noodles in Chinatown, which seemed like a good idea at the time...
