Marina Abramović: The Artist Is Present

March 14–May 31, 2010

at MoMA - the MUST see show this year.

I will write more later about this, especially after I actually see it. But DO NOT miss the Grande Dame of performance art. It's about physical presence in our body, pain, endurance, relationships, and much more. Marina herself will confront visitors for the duration of the show.

Also, I have to point out that my girl Rachel (aka Bon Jane) is part of this performance, her long hair braided with another, standing for hours at a time. Interview with Rachel to come!
